It's the world's first 17-70mm F2.8 standard zoom lens with a 4.1x zoom ratio for APS-C cameras. The lens includes TAMRON's proprietary VC (Vibration Compensation) and RXD (Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive) AF drive system. The lens's fast F2.8 maximum aperture is maintained throughout the entire zoom range, making it suitable for a variety of scenarios.
